EPQ
EPS stands for Extended Project Qualification, a research-based
qualification that students can undertake alongside their A Levels.
It will require you to research a topic of your choice and create
a project based on it, which can take various forms such as
an essay, a report, a performance or an artefact.
Benefits of an EPQ
-
Develop skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, presentation and time management.
-
Demonstrate interest in a specific area which can be useful for university applications and future careers.
-
It can carry UCAS points and be valued at half an A-Level qualification in the UCAS tariff.
