Theatre
Our purpose built theatre features a large 80m2 stage raised above an audience capacity of 405.
With its state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems it can accommodate both theatre productions and dance shows.
The lighting system is operated off a Jester Board and encompasses a full 5 bar rig with a mixture of profiles, parcs and floor lights with various gels and two independent spotlights. The rig can also take additional lighting backs for side lights or roaming lights should you wish to bring these with you with appropriate PAT testing.
The theatre operates on a full 8 speaker surround sound system that is of the same quality used in professional theatres and can work with a variety of technologies including online, laptop, mobile devices, and CDs.
The theatre offers deep wings on both sides with access to backstage through stage left and right and access across the back of the stage for transitions.
Going Dark Theatrical Services
We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Going Dark Theatrical Services who will providing technical support for our shows.
Over the last few months they have been working with us, upgrading, organising and maintaining various parts of the theatre and classrooms.
Moving forward they will be providing us with technical advice, support and maintenance as well as being on hand to assist with designing and operating shows within our wonderful theatre.
